The vessel is powered by the original engine MBL Inboard that produces 158HP. Looking for a piece of history, 1955 Chris-Craft Capri 21, which is the rarer version than the smaller option that Chris-Craft built. Original Thunderbolt engine, Mahogany Wood. The bottom and seams would be do for caulking and sanding. The exterior was shiny, there are areas that could use some TLC with finish.

The interior, cushion, bench seats were in very nice condition free from any wear or tears. The local and visiting consultant was really impressed having the opportunity to see this listing in person. The varnish is rough in some areas but with a little love, this boat could be back to magazine quality. The interior on this Sportsman has been updated some years ago and the bottom of the boat was painted with authentic Chris-Craft paint and primer but was never caulked so it will need some attention. You will love the way she sounds motoring through the water. With the original Hercules engine that has very few hours on it since it was worked on by the guys at Chris-Craft in Algonac Mi. This beautifully maintained Sportsman is about as close to original as it gets and is the perfect start to your next family heirloom.
